Join us for the Spring 2025 Inserra events. We are pleased to feature book presentations by renowned food historian Simone Cinotto and widely anthologized writer Maria Laurino, master classes by visionary musical director Marco Savatteri and pluri-awarded live sound director Maricetta Lombardo, lectures on Italian film and meetings on interdisciplinary pedagogy. Topics will include food practices in the Italian colonies, U.S.-Italy adoption programs, Made in Italy, and Greek mythology in contemporary performances.
These events are the result of collaborations with units on campus (Coccia Institute, Cali School of Music, SCM) and with entities off campus, especially the initiatives of Agrigento Capitale della Cultura 2025.
